Construction of improvements to Northwest Bergen County Utility Authority’s PULIS AVENUE MANHOLE 50 REPLACEMENT PROJECT located in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey at a construction cost of $215,000.00 were financed by the New Jersey Water Bank (NJWB).  The NJWB is a State Revolving Fund program jointly administered by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank (Infrastructure Bank) and uses a combination of funds provided by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the DEP, and the Infrastructure Bank to provide very low interest loans to borrowers for environmental infrastructure projects.

This project will provide water quality benefits to the community by replacing an existing sanitary sewer manhole that is structurally deficient and in need of repair. The improvements will allow the Authority to replace an aging structure and avoid future disruption to the existing sanitary sewer system for residents and businesses near the Authority’s service area that is served by the Pulis Avenue Interceptor.
